Positive, The location is amazing, just a quick walk to the town center. My room had a balcony with amazing views of the valley and the castle. Breakfast was delicious, with local specialties. Plus, the restaurant served excellent fondue! Would definitely love to return 😊

perfect location, 5 minutes' walk to la maison du gruyere museum. good sized and compact room and fairly clean bathroom with a shower, a hairdryer and bath sheets.

Liked Gruyeres, the hotel was extremely convenient and lovely little easy to get to reach from the train station. The location was magnificent, near to the town walls. We found nice Hr Giger Bar Museum nearby with hot beverages.

The cleanliness of the room raised concerns, with dust and dirt present, and a dead fly left on the floor. Limited parking options can complicate arrivals, especially with heavy luggage, and the decor feels outdated with a need for a refresh.

Request a mountain view room for a amazing experience and enjoy the lovely terraces for relaxation.

The views from my room were amazing, overlooking the valley and the fine Moléson summit. I loved the breakfast selection, with local cheeses and the iconic meringue a la crème de Gruyère, made my mornings special. The spa facilities, especially the sauna and Turkish bath, provided the perfect relaxation after a day of exploring.

Charming traditional decor

Staying at De was a good experience! The fine views of the valley and castle from my room were amazing, and the breakfast was excellent with local specialties like meringues and double cream. Plus, the serene setting was perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Discounts to local attractions were a nice bonus!

Staying at this hotel was a treat for the family! The fine surroundings and lovely gardens were perfect for our pet-friendly getaway. We also took a trip to the nearby chocolate factory, a hit with the kids! Breakfast was nice, with fresh local ingredients.

My kids wished there were more kids' activities available.

It was just an appropriate option for a brief retreat in Gruyeres with excellent value for money. The views from my room were amazing, overlooking the valley and the fine countryside. You might want to arrive early since check-in is later in the afternoon.

This place suits me perfectly! Free wi-fi in rooms, a fitness center, and a steam room are just a few amenities provided. The staff even helped me with a wake-up call during my first stay! I highly recommend enjoying breakfast.

I stayed in a Comfort Double Room with Balcony for 2 nights and it was lovely! The views of the valley and Château de Gruyères from the balcony were awesome, and waking up to that was such a treat. The room was cozy, and a fan helped with the lack of AC. The bathroom was nice and spacious, a plus! Just a heads up, the limited space near the bed felt a bit cramped. The breakfast was delicious, with local specialties. Would definitely stay here again!
